RE: ABAQULUSI YOUTH FORUM CONVENES A YOUTH SUMMIT
As part of Youth Month Celebrations the AbaQulusi Youth Forum has decided to convene the above-mentioned two-day summit in Stillwater Lodge in Vryheid on Friday 26 June 2015 commencing at 09h00. The summit will culminate in a celebration on the next day 27 June 2015 in Bhekuzulu stadium where there will be entertainment from various artists and celebrities.
While we understand the importance of youth development, we also are aware of what is needed to achieve that. As a requirement for putting the AbaQulusi youth on a sustained growth and development path, it has become very important for all stakeholders to adopt a common vision and policies to guide their actions as they jointly a pursue mutually agreed set of growth and development objectives.
Developmental Institutions such as the National Youth Development Agency and SEDA have pledged their support and will take part in the summit. In our strive, as the youth forum, to combat poverty and improve young people’s lives, we need to address the societal and economic challenges, as well as maximizing the economic opportunities that are available to advance young people of AbaQulusi.
